Malibu Creek state park engagement photos! With this beautiful park just 25 mins south of downtown Los Angeles, and with it’s rolling fields, views of the San Gabriel Mountains, it is a very welcome respite from the thrum of the city.
We flew out west to photograph Anna and Nick in their home region of Southern California, but they are going to be married in Northern Michigan this summer. It is such a wonderful thing, to be able to document both their home and their wedding.
I can not state strongly enough how insane these two human beings are… they professionally hang off of things at great heights, and often in beautiful places. Seriously, take a look at this instagram post!
But, this insane past time seems to be part of what makes them so wonderful together. They are constantly hanging off of each other, and folding up into positions that most human beings would probably find painful (or at least uncomfortable). They seems to be existing in this alternative universe of full time dancing.
Watching their playful movements, you see two people that completely understand each other. There is an intimacy to their connection that is physical as well as emotional. They way she hangs off of him, you can see a trust that must be earned over hours of practice.
