Nearly fifteen years of photographing weddings in Northern Michigan has taught one thing consistently: the best wedding photos aren't made by giving people directions. They're made by building enough trust that people forget the camera is there.
Before every wedding, the goal is to actually know you. Not just your timeline or your vendor list, but how you two are together. What makes you laugh. How you hold each other when the crowd falls away. That relationship is what shows up in the photographs.
We work around your day, not the other way around. Moving through it with intention, noticing the quiet moments, the looks between family members, the way you exhale when the ceremony ends and you're finally just married.

We photograph weddings throughout the Grand Traverse region, from the vineyards of Old Mission Peninsula to the shoreline at Sleeping Bear Dunes. These places are familiar in the way local knowledge is: where the light falls, where the crowds aren't, what makes each location worth the drive.
