We are Brooke Allen and Michael Kent,
partners in life and in business. Traverse City photographers. We believe in creating honest portraits of good people, forward thinking and experimentation in our craft, and not taking ourselves too seriously. We celebrate down to earth love stories, wind in your hair, imperfections, hugs, and all dogs.
We live in Northern Michigan with our son and pup, with direct access to one of the most beautiful bodies of fresh water in the world.

In our work we do not artificially limit the kinds of images we make: wedding, portrait, senior, etc. Instead it is about working together with people that we honestly love. Our philosophy is simple, photography is about humans, in all of their complexity. We adore photographing complex, beautiful humans, doing amazing and simple things.

Photography Across Northern Michigan
We photograph throughout Northern Michigan including Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Leland, Suttons Bay, Empire, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Many of our clients are visiting the region for weddings, vacations, or surprise proposals along the lakeshore.
But, our goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel real, relaxed, and meaningful, helping people slow down for a moment and remember what this season of life actually felt like.
